A beautiful 18ct gold entwined double snake ring, dating circa 1900. The snakes heads are set with a garnet and rose diamond eyes, their body coiled and complete with their tails. Snake rings were popular in the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras and signify eternal love, renewal and protection. This ring is in good condition with a lovely buttery gold patina. Stamped with British hallmarks. Looks fabulous on the hand and easy to wear, a statement piece.
