Rare and ravishing Antique Victorian Coral necklace, made circa 1880s, composed of two strands of fine quality natural and untreated barrel shaped coral beads from the Mediterranean Sea. The fine quality barrel shaped coral beads are a bright red to deep salmon colour, measuring 5.5mm - 4.5mm, with only very few tiny blemishes. The 14ct yellow gold box clasp is set with one cabochon coral measuring 8.5mm x 13.3mm, it bears a Dutch hallmark used in the years 1853-1906.
