1950s Vintage “Giardinetti” brooch from the Italian word “little garden” also knows as flower basket brooches. They became popular in the 18th century and are characterised by intricate openwork floral motifs set with various gems arranged in a basket. 

This splendid brooch is handcrafted in 18k white and yellow gold and set with approx. 6.80 carats natural diamonds. It features a triangle cut natural fancy yellow diamond, weighing approx. 1.10 carats, a half moon cut natural fancy yellow diamond weighing approx. 0.50 carat, an Antique cut diamond weighing approx. 0.60 carat, and round cut diamonds with hues of green, brown and red as well an a small Ruby. 18k yellow and white gold, weighing 17 grams, acid tested.
• CONDITION
Very good condition, the original clasp and been replaced with a better secured trombone clasp.

One natural Ruby weighing approx. 0.10 carat.

Total combined weight of diamonds is approx. 6.80 carats. One triangle cut natural fancy yellow diamond, weighing approx. 1.10 carats, measuring 7.6mm x 7.6mm x 3.4mm, clarity VS. One antique cut diamond weighing approx. 0.60 carat, measuring 5.7mm diameter, color H, clarity SI. One half moon cut natural fancy yellow diamond weighing approx. 0.50 carat, clarity VS. Three round cut diamonds weighing combined approx. 0.80 carat, color H, clarity SI. Three baguette cut diamonds weighing combined approx. 0.30 carat, color H, clarity VS. Seventy four rounds cut diamonds weighing combined approx. 3.50 carats, clarity vs, color H and some of them in hues of green, brown and red.
• DIMENSIONS
North to South 1.7 inches/ 4.3 cm, East to West 2 inches/ 5.2 cm.
• NOTE
In order to preserve the original condition of the jewel, stones have not been removed from their setting. All diamonds weight, color, grade and clarity, unless stipulated otherwise, have been made by measurement formula and comparison.

UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery 1PM, arriving by the next working day.

International orders are sent via DHL Express, arriving in 3-7 business days, subject to custom clearance. Please be aware of import duty, US sale tax and EU VAT on delivery. We don’t charge sale tax or VAT on any orders.

We offer an easy return policy. If you wish to return an item please get in touch within 5 days of delivery and be prepared to ship the item back within 7 days of delivery.
Items are to be returned in their original condition and packaging. Buyers are responsible for returns shipping costs.
